Key Features
Parameter Driven Webstore
inPowerSuite employs a flexible, data driven design that allows for optimum
customization of a web store. With literally over 300 parameters, a web
store can be tailored to suit your current and evolving e-commerce needs.
These parameters control both the behavior and look-n-feel of the web store's
shopping and checkout processes.
Unlimited Items / Attributes
Supports an infinite number of product groups and products/SKUs with flexible
definition of attributes.
Multi-dimensioned Product Configurator
In addition to individual products, inPowerSuite supports the definition
of product groups with style, color, and size properties and how it displays
the underlying SKUs during shopping.
Bundled Items
Provides kitted and bundled item relationships to speed the loading of
a customer's shopping cart.
Item Category Hierarchies
Supports unlimited number of categories and subcategories for managing
product navigation on the web store. This allows a single product/SKU to
be represented with multiple categories on the same web store. Categories
can contain user defined sort sequence, extended descriptions including
HTML tags, images, etc. Categories support outline and tree-view displays.
Categories can also be defined as links to external content.
Price Lists
Supports flexible pricing and discounting configurations within a single
web store by item and by customer type. Price Lists can be setup with select
products and assigned to customers for retail, wholesale or any form of
preferred pricing.
Item Discount Pricing
Provides standard item discounts to all or select products within a store
by various methods. Store pricing can be reflected as cost price plus a
markup or list price minus a discount. Both Markups and Discounts can be
expressed as either a fixed value or a percentage.
Order Fulfillment
Supports order fulfillment for a stand-alone web store that includes picking,
packing and shipping (performed with the inStore "Manager" application).
Order Cancellations
Supports cancellation of an order or specific order lines before fulfillment
processing. Sales Tax and Credit Card adjustments are automatic.
Partial Shipments
Supports partial order shipments for low inventoried items. inPowerSuite
creates additional pick tickets for the partial shipped orders on inventory
replenishment.
Back Order and Returns Processing
Supports back orders, which provide the ability to place orders when available
to pick is zero. This functionality is turned on/off parametrically. inPowerSuite
also supports order returns processing via a Returns Authorization mechanism.
The RA process allows customers wishing to return products to call Customer
Service who will issue an RA number to track the return.
Table Driven Sales Tax
Supports sales tax calculations based on rates specified by the taxing
authorities, and takes into account customer and/or product specific tax
exemptions.
Website Management
Provides more than one hundred parameters to control preference settings
for general web store, shopping, ordering, tracking, fulfillment, etc.
Installation Defaults
The default installation supports one web store for a single company, configured
with a preferred language, currency, QuickBooks Interface, and setup for
5-users.
