inPower application suite was created to offer an integration ready platform for complete E-Commerce solutions. While most companies will deploy webstores using the "out of the box" configuration, others will require a comprehensive set of functions for their e-commerce needs.

Add-ons

Advanced Product Search

Provides the ability to specify multi-faceted and conditional search criteria. For example, blue shirts by designer x, and priced between $50 and $100.

Multiple Ship-tos (per order)

Provides the ability to split shipments for a single order to multiple destinations, thus simplifying the ordering process for a customer. inStore will automatically calculate and itemize sales tax and charges per shipping destination.

Multiple Stores

Provides the ability to configure and run multiple web stores from a single inStore installation. Ideally suited for multinational companies, or for those wanting to customize their catalog and shopping experience by customer segment, or by manufacturer/distributor relationship.

Multiple Currencies

Provides support for multiple currencies (i.e. - USD, EUR, YEN, GBP, etc.). In other words, orders from the same store can be transacted in different currencies. Ideally suited for multi-national companies.

Multiple Languages

Provides support for multiple languages (i.e. - Spanish, French, Japanese, and other single/double-byte languages). In other words, products and labels from the same store can be translated into any single or double byte language that is supported by Oracle.

Multiple Companies

Provides support to multiple companies within a single inStore installation. Ideally suited for multi-national companies or e-commerce Application Service Providers (ASPs).

Advanced Discount Pricing

Provides the abilities to accept promotional codes for an item and extend volume threshold discounts (e.g., buy 2 get 1 free scenario).

Gift Certificates

Provides the ability to order and redeem gift certificates from the web store.

Email Campaign Engine Provides the ability to generate email campaigns to a qualified customer base. Email can contain promotional pricing and order links.

Content Management

Provides the ability to store well-formed HTML content (text and images) for the general web store and products. Additionally, supports cascading style sheets to control fonts and color schemes.

Membership Orders

Provides the ability to accept membership subscription orders and collect member profiles.

Seminar and Event Orders

Provides the ability to display date and location sensitive items, and take orders for seminars and other events.

POS Ordering

Provides the ability to perform Point-of-Sale (card present) transactions using a credit card reader device.

Call Center Ordering

Provides the ability for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to place orders on behalf of an anonymous shopper or an existing customer, while interacting with him or her on the phone.

EIS Reports

Provides an Executive Information Systems repository and suite of reports, enabling future queries and analyses of sales and customer ordering activity.

E-Commerce APIs

Provides the ability to leverage a set of programming functions or application programming interfaces (APIs) to integrate e-commerce functionality into a custom-built web store. This API set allows a web development team to use inStore's native functionality for managing customers, shopping, secure ordering and tracking capabilities within an existing web site.

Integrations

Additionally, inPowerSuite provides real-time communication with external systems and services to provide a fully integrated e-commerce experience. These include address standardization, shipping charges, sales tax, credit card processing, core financials and more.

Each plug-in requires independent account and/or subscription information from a third-party provider, or software in order to be properly integrated.

Address Standardization

Provides real-time access to AddressMatchT for street-level standardization and validation of customer entered billing and shipping addresses.

Requires a subscription to AddressMatchT.

Shipping Charges

Provides real-time access to UPS Online services for shipping methods and rates, and parcel tracking.

Robust Sales Tax Engine

Provides real-time access to CertiTaxT online service to obtain current sales tax rates for each order in the United States and Canada.* For the United States, tax calculations are based on Geo codes tied into Zip code + 4.

Requires a subscription to CertiTaxT.

Credit Card Processing

Comes with integrated plug-ins for goEmerchant'sT "EZ Payment Gateway", a secure, internet-based, and real-time credit card transaction processing service. This service is backed by NOVA Information Systems, one of the top three-bankcard processors in the United States.

Additionally, Oracle E-Business customers can leverage inPower payment gateway interfaces to perform auto lock-box and batch settlement processing.

Financials

Provides seamless integration with Oracle E-Business / Financial / ERP applications to synchronize customers, orders and inventory on the web.
